Comprehensive services designed to better serve students
Ò°»¨ÉçÇø (Ò°»¨ÉçÇø) announces the creation of an enhanced Writing Center, housed in The Hub, Ò°»¨ÉçÇø’s centralized tutoring center. The Writing Center at the Hub consolidates the work that had been accomplished through two smaller writing centers on campus, and reflects increased student demand and the University’s focus on offering meaningful services designed to optimize student success.
Located in the Congressman Frank J. Guarini Library, The Hub offers academic support services in a multitude of disciplines. The Hub accommodates one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, where College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) trained peer and professional tutors work with students through example and simplified methods to aid in the understanding of course materials. Throughout the year, The Hub hosts events and conducts workshops with an emphasis on academic success.
