Summary

I am currently a professor in the Educational Technology Department and the Coordinator of the Ed.D. in Educational Technology Leadership.

My career has focused on examining and applying technology to leverage the growth and development of individuals—from English language learners to students with special needs.

Over the last decade questions about how and why adults learn with technology outside of formal schooling have been a focus of my work. Recently my teaching and scholarship have examined applications of generative artificial intelligence in effective, ethical, and personally empowering ways.
