What makes dual enrollment courses different from traditional high school courses?

Dual enrollment courses are delivered at a more rigorous level offering more detailed subject studies, higher level assignments, and require greater student independence, and responsibility.

What grade qualifies a student to receive college credits?

A grade of “C” or higher is needed to receive college credits.

Will I be issued an Ұ�� ID once I enroll in a dual enrolled course?

Yes, students who enroll in dual enrollment classes are Ұ�� students and will be issued an Ұ�� ID.

When can students start earning college credits at/with Ұ��?

Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to participate if they enroll in an approved course at their high school or at Ұ��. Students are advised to check with their high school for any additional enrollment requirements or restrictions.

Can dual enrollment courses be taken at one of the Ұ�� campuses?

Yes, or on the high school campus, depending on the arrangement with the high school and/or Board of Education.

Can I enroll in a course after the registration window has closed?

No, Ұ�� does not allow course enrollment after the registration window has closed. If you miss the dual enrollment registration deadline you will be ineligible for dual enrollment credit. Credit cannot be granted retroactively.

What happens if a student registers and is not fully ready for college-level classes?

If a student needs to withdraw from a dual enrollment course, they should complete the course withdrawal form located on our website. To receive a full refund, the withdrawal form must be submitted within the registration period, on or before the last day of registration.

What is FERPA?

Unlike the K-12 setting where a parent or authorized guardian may view their student’s grades or progress at any time, all college student grades, records, and information are protected by the federal privacy law called FERPA, which means only the student may access this information unless authorized consent is given otherwise. How do I obtain my transcript?

Grades and transcripts will be available for students and High Schools at the conclusion of each. semester. To request a transcript, a student or graduate has three options:

How do I pay my bill?

The University will directly invoice the parent or guardian of the student or the high school for tuition in accordance with the following charges and terms for the school years between 2023-2026. The discounted tuition is $100 per credit if taken at Ұ�� or $40 if taken at the high school.
