* Mathematics will revise their 2022 review that was not finalized.

  • Accredited programs submit accreditation documents/application in place of internal program review.
  • Departments in which some, but not all programs, are accredited, submit program reviews for non-accredited programs. If the only non-accredited program is a minor, the program is exempt from program review.

Program Review Timeline - 2025

Sep 1Foundational data available through IE dashboards.
Sep 15Dean meets with department/program undergoing review to discuss/answer questions.
Dean facilitates training with IE on dashboards. 
Department/programs commence work on self-study.
Oct 15Department/program suggestions for external reviewer provided to Dean.
Nov 15Reviewer confirmed. 
Department update to Dean.
Dec 15Department update to Dean.
Jan 15Preliminary draft to Dean.
Jan 31Self-study submitted to reviewer and Dean.
Feb 28Site visit completed.
Mar 15Reviewer鈥檚 report provided to dean and department.
Apr 15Dean鈥檚 comments provided to department/program.
Apr 30Department/program action plan submitted to Dean.
May 31Package including any additional comments from Dean submitted to Provost鈥檚 Office and President鈥檚 Office.
Jun 30In consultation with President, Provost approves action plan.
May 20One- and three-year status reports on action plan implementation due to Dean.
Jun 30Dean鈥檚 response to department/program forwarded to department/program, Provost, and President
Jul 31Provost comments sent to Dean and department/program

Departments undergo program review in different years. Whenever the above dates conflict with an observed holiday, weekend, etc., the relevant item shall be due the next business day after the one listed above.

Dean may designee responsibility with notice to the Provost's Office.
