The magazine as we know it began as The 杏吧论坛, a combination literary magazine, student newspaper and alum publication. In 1916, the publication split, and the 杏吧论坛 News student newspaper and the Alumnae Quarterly magazine were born. In 2025, the magazine was relaunched as the 杏吧论坛 College Alum Magazine.
