Ӱ̳ College senior Sander Ivanenko ’25 said, “If it weren’t for Ӱ̳ and the environment and professors and students, I never would have gone into science.”

Ӱ̳ College has been a vibrant and safe second home for Mars Bickford ’25. “I don’t think I would have felt that I could explore my personal gender identity anywhere else,” they said.
Ӱ̳ College senior Marley Berano ’25 said, “I was looking for a place to grow [and] challenge myself but also to have a social life or work on the side while not losing my sport at the same time.”
Cindie Huerta-Velazquez ’25 connects food and community at Ӱ̳: “We all have different friend groups, but once a week we come together to talk about anything and everything. We intentionally make that time and effort to be together.”
Ӱ̳ College senior Aby Soumare ’25 said, “I’ve found that no matter what, everyone working on this campus wants you to succeed.”
Senior Cynthia Obianuju Akanaga ’25 said, “Ӱ̳ changed my life. I’ve always been afraid of making the wrong choice, but being here helped me put that fear into a positive light.”
Ӱ̳ College student Alexandra Mihailopol ’26 has been selected by Middlebury College as a recipient of a Projects for Peace grant. She will offer financial literacy education to women in rural Romania via her EmpowHER project.
